Default Fan making a noise, think it's leaves

Hi, my first post here!

I have an AU Fairlane and love it!!

My fan has started making a noise and i'm pretty sure there are leaves stuck in there as the noise gets faster as the fan increases speed.........any ideas how to fix this? I had a fiddle underneath the glove box but couldn't feel anything obvious.

Cheers
Stefan

this is such a common problem, there are many threads on this and other occuring problems. perhaps before starting a new thread, have a search though the other threads to see if there is one that relates to any problem you may have. more often then not you will find one :
any way, with the glove box off, turn the ignition on and turn the climate control to recirculate (or is it fresh?) you will see a "door" open. turn the ignition off (i think the door will stay open) and you will be able to get the leaves out from the fan.

Just a word of advice, dont do this with the fan operating, you will hurt yourself!!:

BTW welcome to the forums, hide your wallet as you will get ideas for many mods for the fairlane (just look at blackers beast!!) and we want to see pics please!!

it is possible to open the door manually, or jus stick the vacum cleaner in there. that will work.

Thanks again, i was able to open the door up and stick my hand up, couldn't feel any mess so I'll stick a vacuum up there tomorrow.........hopefully that'll work.

I love my fairlane!!! bought it in November last year, 12/1999 millennium........CD stacker has gone to ^&*% though with 4 cd's stuck in there, will deal with that another time, meanwhile it's the ipod for me.
