Default what size rims and tyre pressure

Hi all , i have a couple of questions i want to take my ute for a run down the quarter and was wondering if territory 17" steelies are the go and what pressure to run the tyres? any advice is greatly appreciated. cheers brad :

the smaller the better!

These boats of ours have very bad gearing and would recommend a small diameter to launch you off the line quicker. Takeoff is everything.

I just got myself a couple standard 16" steelies with 245 slicks

They are abit smaller and lighter weight = better acceleration and horsepower at the wheels.

practically stock, ran a 15.0 (n/a 6).....18's on back
now, moded with 163rwkw and slicks, havent ran yet.....every friday its been raining...hopefully goin this friday night.

Low profile tyres encourage wheel spin. I would suggest 15 inch wheels. Circuit racing slicks aren't really going to offer that much more traction than good street tyres. Too big a burnout will make street tyres greasy and can also have a negative effect on traction. Pressure in 15's, start aroung 26-28 psi. Just my opinion, been there, tried a lot.

Just the standard 16's with the Goodyear NCT-5's and 33psi.

My fastest qtr mile time, prob about 40secs

If its a T
on 17's start at 20 lb if its stock turbo
if its not 16lb or less
