Default Left my mobile at home - what else do you forget?

Got up a little late, quickly had breakfast, grabbed everything, bailed into the car to get to work, get 90% of the way and reliase I dont have the mobile with me, and no chance to go back and get it, and waiting on a call about a job to make it worse.

So what do you manage to forget at home that you really need.

lol.. nice one merlin.

I had a hair cut this morning and couldnt find my wallet. Figured out i had left it in the truck last night at work. Lucky for me i see the street sweeper that i drive at night doing the morning shift not 500m from my house. So i pulled over and got it off him

I love it when that happens.

if you ring your own mobile and let it go to message bank, once the message bank kicks in and starts playing your greeting press the # key and enter your pin and you can check your messagebank from any phone remotely.

Its a lifesaver when you forget your phone and are waiting for a call. if you forgot your PIN ring your provider and they should be able to tell you or at least reset it.

I use a laptop at work, and bring it home every night. Once a month or so I forget to bring the laptop charger to work, leaving me to run a 9 hour day with only 2 hours of battery life. My trip in takes about an 1 hour 25 mins so I can't really go back...

Normally go use the laptop 1 hour before lunch, 1 hour after

I lose everything from wallet, phone, inhaler, sunnies. And its in the worst places I lose them.

I left my wallet on top of my car after I filled up with fuel, (I had to prepay) and drove off. I didn't realise my wallet was m issing til 10pm that night thankfully an honest person found my contact details in it and phoned me that night notifying me that he had found it, with the cash still in it. I didnt have much in it, about $25 but all credit cards etc were still there I couldnt beleive my luck. VERY forutunate. He didnt want to accept a reward, but I gave him a nice bottle of wine as thats all I had to thank him with. I felt stupid, but lucky at the same time.

Sunnies are the worst to leave too, but it's been my wallet that I forget the most.

This morning on the push bike ride to work, got 5km from home only to realise that I left my clean jocks and socks at home :/

Had to find a Coles Express in the city that had undies and socks for sale. Then the only one that had only 1 size too small jocks... so at the moment i'm a little tight and constricted until I can get changed and ride home again.

I actually forgot my wife and new born son, after a function I walked off talking to some one, got to the car 5mins away, stopped and had this uneasy feeling I had forgotten something. When I remebered, I drove the car closer to make out that's what I intended to do, she'd kill me if knew I had forgotten them. (no alchohol involved)

i allways lose my glasses (need them to drive, short sighted) left them in a smashed up EA at just Falcons once, took me a good few hours trying to remember where i might have left them. Went back in the morning and they were still sittin there in the console, I only have one pair so that was lucky.

Last friday night I was in a rush to go out, I had a shower and ran out, forgetting to put on my watch. Weird having to pull your mobile out every time you wanna check the time.

Yes, I have 7 shirts and 2 pairs of pants and a pair of black leather shoes all at work. The shirts and pants cycle through dry cleaning and the leather shoes have odour eaters in them.

After riding to work in dedicated cycling clothes, I have a shower and change. Obviously I couldn't change without undies (going commando is disgusting idea).

Oh and for those that don't know, you don't wear undies with cycling clothes because it increasing the chaffing - and the cycling shorts are designed to be worn without undies.

I left my mobile at home yesterday. I have also left locker keys at home, and the remote control to get into the garage I park in. Have left the wallet at home, and the other day I had to go pay my car insurance, got all the way to the bank, waited in the queue, finally get served, only to find when they asked how much I wanted the cheque made out for, that I have left the paperwork with the total due at home.
Had to walk back to work, call home, and have someone check my desk, then realised I had filed it away, so I had to call directory assistance, then call the insurance company and find out how much I owed.
Then walk back to the bank and wait in the queue again.

I have a friend who left her wallet behind several times, and once or twice her violin.

I always forget to take the right car keys out to the car... take the EL to work and normally try and start the car with the XB or XF keys... and its a long walk back to the house to get the right set !!!
