Im going to assume instead of buying a sprint he bought the Kinetic XR8 from his signature and sold the sprint to someone else...

Nah it's a company car demo, I didn't buy it!

Either drive a Kuga for 3 months waiting for my Sprint demo to arrive or grab an XR8 that's instock...

I chose the XR8!

Yeah, I drove that Kuga for a couple of days, that thing was a rolling coffin. Wise decision - and I wanted Kinetic, too. :(

Why would you demo a sold out car?

I had a Kuga loan car for a week after a dealer damaged my car. Ecoboost Kuga used more fuel than the Ranger. I thought ecoboosts were meant to be the fuel efficient variant.

Not when brand new it seems but they soon settle down.

Got 550 klms out of a tank on a new one.

Demo a convertible Mustang V8 in red or orange then sell it to me with the usual demo discount

If you wanted performance with handling I would've chosen a 6T Sprint auto.
I'd like a V8 manual but for me the FG or Mustang is my choice.
Prettier on the eye. Mustang 5.0lt looks it but is gutless.

Yep, should have gone for the XR6Sprint. The FGX XR8 is nice, but is just going to be missing the best bits.

Each to their own.

I loved the Kinetic FG-X XR6 Turbo Luxury I was in, very linear power delivery but I just couldn't not have a Falcon to drive for 3-4 months whilst waiting for my new demo to arrive.

Kinda helped the XR8 was the same colour as my old demo, and I'm a sucker for the XR8 wheels...

Also hearing the V8 sucked me in...

I guess this is a good thread to ask this question since we have a Ford dealer here.
Why on all the Mustang photos it seamed to have 3 LED lines near the headlights as DRL, but every Mustang I have seen on the street has had Halogen looking DRL's down near the fog light area?

Hi Ben,

Mate I've asked a few times myself and the DBM didn't know.

I can only assume it's been done that way to meet our ADR rules, same reasons why the rear lights are different too.

I think it's because they don't turn off or dim when you operate the indicators so they separate them to be compliant

Something tells me, Craig, that you shouldn't get too excited about 'your' new Sprint demo . . . I don't think you'll be driving it for very long . . . . don't get too attached mate!
