I notice the trans in your link ain't recommended for beyond 450hp. Which probably means its not much better than a stock build with a shift kit? If your doing a conversion (ie Ford)? Make sure the bellhousing bolts on/off.

Na its for a Lexus 1UZ,V8 turbo motor in Mustang Celica...
Yes any stronger the aftermarket case is required...
Spoke to TCI that power level is for a big block Chev ..
Comes with bassic steel upgrades.
The Celica will be less than 1/2 the weight of a b/b Chevy sedan...
I'll try and bring it in with Ford bellhousing though.. Like I need a Chevy housing!!!!!

Cool

have been running a TCI Powerglide (top end of the range) behind a blown LS7 for about 2 years now. only drama we had was after a solid few trashings, not doing enuff band adjustments when dropping the oil. since being a bit more diligent, haven't had a drama. trans cooler in the mix obviously.

You shouldn't need an aftermarket case. I'm running the best part of 600hp through a 6cyl stock case. I used a 6cyl case as 6cyl ones had a bolt on/off bell. The bloke before me ran over 1000hp though it.
