Silent number means very few if any telemarketing calls and receptionist at work knows how much I like to speak to them. I usually ask them where to send the bill for my time that they are wasting, funny thing is they then don't want to speak to me anymore.

I remember someone posting a website a long while back that you register with if you no longer want calls from telemarketers. Does anyone know of it? Is it for real or another way for someone to obtain your information to pass onto others?

So sick of unwanted calls.. even with a private number.

I just ask them to hold for a second, and leave them there and go back to my stuff. Some hang on for a long time. Losers!!!!!!

i normally put the phone down for half an hour ... funnily enough sometimes they keep talking for half an hour without me being there ...
