it's great that wincup won overall, if toddler hadn't spun tander in the first race tander would of won all 3, in performance the fords are slightly behind. i suspect that the performance difference was getting looked at from behind the scenes they way crompton kept mentioning it & there maybe a very slight possability that something could be done to rectify this, unfortunately the conditions at winton didn't allow the difference to be properly surveyed.
unusually the fords went well in the wet whilst some of the main holden players had trouble but in the dryish 3rd race the main holdens were that bit quicker, now that a ford has won a race & round the performance difference probably won't be looked at for a while.
just my opinion

anyone else pick up on the lack of penalities when r.kelly, dumbrell & 1 other short cut the track in the 2nd race, this seemed strange, i would presume they made some gains from it. yet courtney copped a 27sec penality for passing under yellow at the end of the 1st race..................... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

The performance from the Fords was shocking! Watching the TOLL VE just shoot away from the Vodafone car out of corners in race 1 and 2 was just insane... There was no comparison..

But yes, awesome to see the podium full of the Blue Oval in R1...

Can't wait till next round!
