I have a game on Friday morn against my mate who with me is ultra competitive.
Were both on 18, close games near on every time love it !
this is the cheapest I have seen them which is + $10 postage

Just bought 2 x dozen b330s for $70inc postage from golf box

played this weekend from 13.4 GA, and it was played as 14. Net 73 saturday stroke and 35pt stableford today. New GA HC is 12.1. 3 more strokes.

Approach shots have been better the last 2 rounds. Still nervous putting and drives today a little inconsistent. Im having 2 - 3 rough holes per round which blows out my scores. Today i lipped 2 sub 3ft birdie putts and couple of par putts, lipped 2 chips, and had an out of bounds on one hole and a drop on another. 3 strokes to drop to reach my end of year goal.

Looks like I'm to late to put my two bobs in about clubs.. BUT, R11 irons are great.
I use R11 irons, stiff shafts, RBZ Driver, SLDR hybrid and a Adams 3 wood. Odyssey white hot 2 ball putter. GA 9.1

Hi Naughts, I am a Titleist fan boy. In my old set I have a TM rescue 3 hybrid and I used to be able to bash the ball with it; but not recently. although since I have changed by swing/ball/hand position I might have to get it out and give it a whirl again, I used to love it.

I took my old taylor made rescue 3 hybrid 19d out yesterday. 7/10 I hit pretty well. I pulled a couple and hit 1 or 2 thin, but I belted a few around the 190m mark, but plugged 2 past 200m, mustve had a high swing speed and hit the sweet spot. Anyways, my old set is being sold and unfortunately the hybrid will have to go with it.

Im looking for a replacement 17 - 19d 3 hybrid. I am loving titleist, but open to suggestions? I will need the heavier range

playing at 11.4 atm. Had a couple of weeks away. Was playing a good round last weekend on the sat with 5 over and 5 holes to go, ended up 11 over after landing in a cliff faced bunker on a par 3 needing 3 shots just to get out! ugh... ruining that round. Mind you i was playing in 40d dry heat. I do feel like I am consistently improving though

Anyways, just bought 2 more vokey wedges for some better options when pitching/chipping. Still looking for a 2 or 3 hybrid. Wouldn't mid upgrading the 3 wood too.

Also just bought some footjoy spikeless superlites. Keen to give them a whirl this weekend.

I went to play at the Lincoln course once.............they asked me to come back in the evening when no-one else is on the course, and perhaps have my own insurance policy....

Previous time I played..err shall we say had a golf club in my hands was 20 years earlier and sent a guy to hospital after smacking the ball and his noggin stopping it. He went out like a light very quickly.

Since found safer (supposedly) interests.

Nice one mate... now the battle of maintaining it.

I've just hit some good form myself and looking to get to 2 in the next month or so.

Shot 75 (par 72) on Sat with wait for it.....

4 GIR's but had only 27 putts.

Can see an even par round coming very soon!

My track is looking good atm...

I have played on and off for a while, but will remain playing this time.
It's been 4 months to the day I have been playing now. The first weekend with a HC (after a 5 year hiatus) I won the C grade local open, then last weekend I won the A grad comp getting into single figures.

I bought some 2nd hand SM4 vokey m grind wedges. The 52/6 I find too much gap to be any good for anything, but the 48/6 handy for stopping the ball better from 100m < out. I still use my trusty 56/8 vokey I bought new years ago.

on average the golfer will play to his handicap or better, once in 10 rounds.
I think you have time to catch up.

Been having some physio and my swing is getting back. Played Saturday and Sunday.
Was scratch after 12 holes on sunday (2 birdies and 2 bogeys)... then +6 after 14 holes. Needless to say my first decent round in a long time was ruined lol.

Thread digging here.

Winter means less prac. Been playing off of 5. Hit a few 2 or 3 overs and a par card. Tough game to maintain consistency.

I don't have time to play on the w/e but I get a lot of satisfaction belting a bucket of balls week nights at the driving range. Listen to AC/DC on my head phones & give the drivers a work out.

How good is Golf!
I bloody love it, I am not a great golfer by any means and don't have a HC but I had a "great round" (perspective people, perspective)!! at Growling Frog a while back now and shot 82. I was amazed at that.

yer I enjoy my time when out there.
I play weekdays say twice a month maybe 3 when permitted.
I'm still around 18 and don't take it too seriously but just enjoy being out there, bang some good ones, whinge the ones mis timed and the countless putts that could have brought a bird or 2, ce la vie its always better than being in the office.
