Default [SYD] FTF Club Photoshoot Sat 17th October 2009

ok, I've spoke with Chris and both of us are free on Saturday 17th October 2009.

Was hoping to get 6-8 cars initially to do from say about 10am-6pm, however, you will be allocated a schedule so we can maintain and keep appointments with you.

Each car will be allocated 1 hour, which includes setting up of the rig with Chris and me doing static shots whilst rig shots are being done on other cars.

We will keep the price at $50 per car, which includes the use of Chris' rig, our time, our camera gear and all the high res images on CD for you to print out at your leisure(don't forget these will be very high quality as we both use professional grade canon cameras and lenses and are both professional photographers)

So, if you want your car shots to stand out from the crowd, please list your names so that we can allocate you a time to attend. We will only take the first 8 names at this point as more will be done later.

As we are both travelling a fair distance, we would require at least 3 days notice if you were not able to come, so that we could fill the spot.

Please reply with name to secure your spot! First come, first served.
All the best
Mick & Chris

please only put me as a maybe Mick. As mentioned in the PM i understand its a club event and you guys take priority, i dont want to take a place from your members, only if you end up struggling to get cars.
Still checking dates at the moment anyway..

UPDATE: Still locked in for 17th October 2009.

Am now looking for a location in Sydney, hopefully central to most.

Industrial type area, with some character, either old sandstone etc or grafitti.

I will PM and email location so we dont get any unexpected visitors or undue attention.

PS will also take a few more if anyone is interested.

You will need a clean car etc. and patience so we can get outstanding shots of your beast. If it means me taking 100 shots to get a few spot on ones, then so be it

Cheers
Mick

Only need 1-2 definates, any mates, any cars??

I'm doing a few photoshoots for an advertising agency next week at a pretty good location, I'll check it out and see if suitable for us too

just an update guys, this will more than likely be going to go ahead at Silverwater Industrial area, I had my heart set on Rozelle, but checked it out last night and feel traffic may spoil it.

More details will follow this week.

Is everyone that showed interest, still in?? Just wanting to confirm numbers thats all.
Regards
Mick

Location is Wilson Park Silverwater, times will be allocated to each car and I am creating a schedule so that we can keep to time.

It will go in order of list, so Dan & Annalin will be up first at 10am. Each car will get 2 hours of attention, so you will get alot of quality shots! 1 hour on rig and 1 hour of statics, or we might find that rig takes a bit longer so can sacrifice some of the hour for statics as I envisage it will only take 30-40mins.

This is the same location as the start point of the cruise we did with Club Commodore.

If you have a preference of timeslot, please let me know ASAP so we can lock these in.

Regards
Mick

Just a note as well (although you are probably all over it)

if you go up a bit from wilsons park (i know, i know, bus lane) there is a nice wide empty street for some rig shots.

It's reasonably smooth (well it is on a push bike, so I imagine its silk in a car haha)

just thought i'd mention it

Mick, do you want us all there at 10am, or just arrive prior to our time slots?

Rob

EDIT: just read that you will do a group shot of cars attending so i guess we all get there at 10am?

No, I dont wanna use up all your day mate, you are welcome to come and watch though.
It was going to be up to the guys, no one has expressed any interest for a group one, so I reckon we just stick to timeslots.

I'll post up a guide to times tonight.

Mick

No worries. Midday or mid arvo would be good for me if you can wrangle it.

Thumbs up Great Photoshoot

Many thanks to Chris and Mick today at the photoshoot.

It was interesting seeing the various antics that were being employed to capture 'the' shot. Looking forward to the final products, but even just looking at some of the initial stills, then I believe that we are in for something of a treat when we get the finished shots back.

Thanks Chris and Mick... : : :
