Default Ford Automatic Transmission Oil Cooler Return Port List


Common question i receive so ill start a list for transmissions i know.

3 Speeds - Return Lines
BorgWarner 35, 40 & 51 - Rear Line
C3, C4, C5 & C6 - Rear Line

4 Speed - Return Line
4R55E - Top Line (Explorer)
BTR - Rear Line (Falcon/Territory)
AOD - Bottom Line (Mustang)
AODE - Top Line (Mustang)
CD4E - Front/Bell housing (V6 Escape)
F4AEL - Rear/Pump (Laser)
G4AEL/GF4AEL - Rear/Pump (Telstar/4cyl Escape)
4R100 - Rear Line (F Series Super-Duty) (also remove thermostat)

5 Speed - Return Line
5R55E/N/S/W - Top Line (Explorer/FG Falcon)

6 Speed - Return Line
ZF6HP26 - Top Line
