Default 30th Anniversay Fiesta

Ford UK have released a 30th Anniversary Fiesta Zetec S, it only comes in Yellow with a Chequered Flag roof, has leather trim interior and is a limited build of only 400 with each car individually numbered.........what do you all think?

I'm not so sure about the roof (aka Mini), but I'd love to own one, going to be a collectors item in years to come, like the unique aspect as well.

Here's the link

http://www.channel4.com/4car/di/ford/fiesta+st/8094/1

Here's some pics

Yeah, not a fan of the roof at all, really like the instrument cluster badge though, VERY nice touch.

Just cosmetic extras, nothing special. I'd like those ST-bodykits on the Zetec S though.

UGLY

That's like a cross between Megane R26 F1 230 (comes in Yellow with chequered flag on the roof!) and Mini Cooper S.

The black side mirrors don't help.

Horrible. Please, someone crush all 400 of them!

I think there was a forum member that has his indicators exactly like that. Yellow on one side, clear on the other.

Good spot!

Yuppity yup. Thank god my roof is normal.

Wait i reckon that they are different cars. Both show the passenger side of the car not the drivers side. One lhd one rhd perhaps?

Awesome - there's still chance that my lx auto is still one of a kind heh.

Yeh I spotted that too and immediately thought of morbo.

But it's actually a photochop (not a very good one at that).

You can see on this side of the same car, it's actually orange.

I saw a brand new Zetec in a Ford dealership up here in Brisbane the other day with those wheels on.

I wonder whether Ford Oz are going to be using them from now on instead of the nice 7 spoke ones that we're used to?

Why would they do a chequered roof, other than to copy Mini & Renault? Is there any link to a Fiesta in the past with one??? At least on the Renault Megane R26 F1 230 it has other elements to the "decoration" that ties it together much better.

Nup... nothing that I know of. I dunno what's going on there, it's a bit of a waste.
