ahh.. in that case it can be done.. but it won't look like our new logo & we'll have problems with ripping off the .com typeface.

Besides... Don't you want the new improved PerformancePlus™ range of .au stickers???

I might be able to have a dig around and see if I can chase anything up as a giveaway or raffle like we did to raise cash in the "good ol' days". Let me know if you're interested.

Once you get banners etc sorted, why don't you guys get together and promote the site by displaying your cars as a club at the FDC for a month? We are looking for clubs for '05 and are happy to have banners and info on display with the vehicles. We'd need approx 6 cars to fill the middle pen. Would definately work as a promo, with around 600 Ford loving visitors a week coming through the doors.

just seemed odd.. for example, people leaving their cars somewhere for 1 month would mean, in many cases, that the person would be car-less for that month. lol

What about a FF.com.au sponsered car, i rekon a car that takes out the dyno day at the holden & ford days thats plastered with ff.com.au adverts would really draw some attention. A top notch show car that has bucket loads of power would really make the site know.

Madwob, obviously the display idea is impractical for a lot of people, but those with cars they could spare for a month would create a fantastic advertisement for the site. I know of a bunch of ff.com.au folk who have very nice cars that would fit the bill.

Im sure a few members would be happy to put their hand up for the use of their car, there are a few fine Henry's to choose from to. If the site if fully funded for 2 years and this many people are willing to donate it wouldn't take to much more to get somthing going, im sure if one or two big name shops got together with FF.com.au a real machine shouldn't be out of the question.

I doubt it would be easy to compete with the power of Tassone's car, and the quality of Myers car. Be a bit beyond our budget I think... Still a good idea though.
What you want is a unique car, something that stands out from the rest, doesnt need to be a dyno king, just something different.
