I wasn't aware that the Sierra had issues.

The VK was always going to be a problem - AMC Magazine did the best they could a few years ago but it wasn't definitive. If you're a buyer you need to accept that people will always be questioning the provenance and the price adjust accordingly.

An XY GTHO Phase 3 driven by Peter Brock once for a magazine....?

Far out, sales people will use any story they can to inflate values.
How many cars did Peter Brock drive in his lifetime? must have been thousands.

For Sale - 1992 EB Falcon GLi ex- taxi, once had Peter Brock in the back as a passenger. $150,000 firm.

The XY Phase 3 that Brocky drove in a motor magazine (in think it was in Street Machine) is in Paul C's Collection and is in the same auction with the XA Phase 4.

So I don't know what Paul Champion is on about.

The yx p3 wemt for 800k!

A vh 82 83 bathurst winning commodore went for 2100k!
Most didnt sell. They had bids of 500k or 700 or 350k etc on old Brock cars and passed most by.

Interesting anyway.

Would this be the only car that’s won twice at Bathurst?
