2 WEEKS TO GO!!
Yep that’s right only 2 weeks to go then you’ll be able to rip it up around Symmons Plains and not get into trouble…unless of course your not playing up enough in which case I will take you from the track and check your pulse and send you on your way…that’s about how it was in Darwin but they soon got the drift of what goes on after a few of the boys went out for a skid.

Entrant packs have been sent back to all who have entered. We have found that some people may have got the wrong idea and though you had to have 600+hp to go to Powercruise. Well that’s not the case of course so because the entry price has now jumped to $180 as of today, I am going to extend the $110 entry fee until this Friday just in case you have a change of heart. Just give me a call and let me know what’s on your mind and I’ll see what I can do for you. We take all sorts of cars including some drag cars so if you need a bit of extra action other than the straight lien stuff….drop me a lien or give me a call 0407172413

In the mean time the venue maps have been put up on the website. All the info is there on who’s coming. TV adds are playing, radio adds start next Monday and my phone I s ringing off the hook which is all good seeing Nicki answers if most of the time. Only thing left to say is get your asses out to the track in 2 weeks time to see what all the fuss is about.

You can also order your Tassy Powercruise DVD for just $29 at the gate and if you buy your spectator tickets on line at www.powercruise.net, you will also score a free Powercruise Tassy t-shirt.

Well our 1st Tassie powercruise has finally finished. What a time i had. Just had a ball. I must congradulate GUP for bringing Powercruise to Tasmania and what a show he did. To all of his staff they were just so great. i have never been to a event like this that staff are so friendly and willing to help. Always talked to you. And NIKKI for teasing me about my CURLS. These are the sort of events i like where you can use your car for what its built for. All my mates just thought it was awsome too. There is so much talk about how other people are going to enter for next year. We already have a guy that is so keen he is building up a new motor with heaps more power just to go to Powercruise. Gup put on a awsome display as well as UCSMOKE and MENTLE. And i musnt forget Victor and Ben Bray. Everyone is looking forward to next year. I was fortunate enough to take home a few trophies and cash.

Cheers PROXT

must agree powercruise was a blast only thing it lacked from my point of view was a continuity of events as the down time between events leads people to become restless but seeing as it was the first time at the track these things i will no doubt be looked at by those in power thanks for including the smaller island!!!!

Well done on the awesome display at Powercruise - looked great! Not sure if any members heard but when you were out cruising the track, the commentator said they were very happy to have you guys there on the day, that you all behaved and did what was asked for you and they hope to see you next year ;)

Well I know I enjoyed mself and I'd do it again next year. But as kykami said, I think there could be some improvements made especially between events. If I was a paying spectator I think I'd be a little annoyed.

But in their defence it was the first time they have come here and I know if the Dyno had arrived it would have filled in more time and I guess we don't quite have the numbers of entrants the mainland do to extend event length.

All in all, I think there is plenty of potential and I for one hope to see it return for a few more years.

Oh, and Jess I don't kow about anyone else but I couldn't hear a thing the commentators were saying! I was a little busy concentrating on other things. :Up_to_som

Just to finish up, I'd like to congratulate everyone on the display and the effort they put in, I think we can all be proud on our turn out. Also well done Gabby and Matt on their trophies.

Just finished watching the Powercruise DVD - in addition to some footage of the show and shine section and part of the cruise we did the club got a separate little mention midway through the second day on the DVD which was about thirty seconds worth, mind you three seconds of it was Gary's bum!!
