Autoworks our club sponsor has been aproached by a local councilor (petrol head) to have a car display, being our sponsor Autoworks asked us at our last meeting to help them & display our cars
so the idea didn't loose interest it was a sooner than later thing, i spoke with Craig & suggested the following dates this month sundays 19th or 26th with the saturdays 18th & 25th maybe, sundays were the better days for Autoworks. Craig will be getting back to the council & hopes to confirm a date asap. it will be held in the park opposite Autoworks & there is plenty of parking around, other local business are happy to open up on the day for food shopping etc. we would like as many members as possable to attend this & support our sponsor. who's in 1. A show and shine is allways best on sundays,because saturday, most members and onlookers work and Sunday will always attract a bigger crowd.

just spoke with Craig & the local council has said to make it happen & they will help with what they can.
it looks like saturdays are better (an afternoon display from around 1pm to 4pm) with more local businesses open. sundays are an option but will have less places open & possably less people through the area. might have fox fm there & some prizes from local businesses so they can place ads in the local papers & get some flyers ready we need to choose a date & give them a couple of weeks choice of dates Saturdays 25th oct 8th nov, clashes with melton show & shine 15th nov imo the 15th nov is the most suitable date to give everyone time please give me your opinions
