I have seen the bonnet up close and all I can say is that it is a work of art. So is the instrument cluster

Peter put the bonnet together and he told me on sunday it took over 50 hours of work to do it. The bonnet is all steel and its a real credit to Peter for a job well done

So it took him a long time and he did it himself, anybody got some pics of the underside, or can the owner take some please in my head the only way to do that is to overlap the panels weld them up and smear filler in to make it pretty, even that with my relatively low level of skill would take quite some time. Does the owner not want to talk to me? if not I understand. If the owner does happen upon reading this its a magnificent job and I havn't seen it "in the steel" just photos

I have seen this in the metal and the workmanship is outstanding. It is the first aftermarket style bonnet that I have seen that I actually think looks better than factory. Even the finish is better than factory with all the weld points hidden.

And yes those vents are real and functional.

Hey mate,

Sorry for the delay I don't get on the computer much, I do have pictures of the process but won't be uploading them on the computer but the car will be at the FPV Open Day on March 1st if you wish to speak to me in person then. I did have a little help from my mates who are panel beaters and as Tony posted before it took over 50 working hours.

Regards Pete
