650hp (restricted), 660lb/ft torque, AWD, 6-speed straight cut box... Who's got the coin to build a fiesta to the same specs lol?

Ken Block is one Mad ****, starting to get into the same league as his good mate Travis Pastrana.

If that doesn't make you want a fiesta nothing will, very cool.

Longer wheel base probably. Trying to hold a slide in a short wheelbase car is pretty tricky. In saying that, our mx5 turbo does a very competent slide, but that car was made to do it.

I want to see underneath that Fiesta to see exactly whats going on under there..

If you ever go and hunt one down, try to find an SE/SP model. They have a factory turbo, and are fantastic to drive. The SP was a wrx eater in its day, the SE (which is what we have) is a lower boost version with a smaller turbine... But it'll still eat a stock XR5t for breakfast.
And the way it goes into corners is mindblowing. It holds on to the road at (exceedingly fast) speeds, and when it decides to let the back end out, its literally like driving a go-kart. Totally predictable oversteer.
I highly recommend them.

The wheelbase of the 3-Door and 5-Door Fiesta is exactly the same. My guess is they wanted the 5-Door as it's sold in the US, and the whole point of this car was the boost the image of the Fiesta. I suppose no point making it a 3-Door (like most other rally cars) if they don't sell it in the US. Looks sensational none the less.
