Default TX5 AirCon relays and fuses

G'day

My first post. Just picked up a '90 TX5. All good except the Aircon does not come on. I have put 12v to the compressor clutch and it all runs OK. Can someone just tell me which relays and fuses (and where they are located) are used to control the air con?

Many Thanks

Paul.

if there is no gas in the system the compressor clutch will not engage
its an inbuilt safety as not to burn out the compressor

the tx valve should be behind the glove box if that is faulty/leaking the air con will not work

the air con fuse( is , or should be) a 15 A number 14 middle row 5 fuses down from the top
the wiring is switch , blower motor control , resistor ,blower motor
wire colours should be blue /yellow blue/green and blue... .black earth

Also if it is out of gas you might have to get it retro fitted to run 134a refridgerant. Mine's an 89 model and they wouldn't just top it up as it was ozone depleting. I'm not sure if this is the case with the 90 model. Some places do a free air con check. It cost me about $450 with gas to get the retrofit.

Thanks Dirty Hands,

When I force it to run the air is freezing cold so I'm pretty sure is not down on gas.
It has also been updated to the new gas too.

Thanks for the pointers on the fuses - I'll check them tonight.
