5 Stock steelies mate, the only rtvs I've seen my way with alloys were BA's. Got a BF near me with the same 5 steelies.

Yes it means the wheel mounting face is offset from the centreline. A positive offset, which is what the P designates, moves the wheel inboard under the car. A negative offset moves it out. However as the factory offset is larger at 21.5P a 10P offset moves the wheel out 11.5mm further than the factory alloy RTV wheels.
Provided there is still clearance you are allowed to widen the track of a car 25mm. That means you can run 12.5mm less offset than factory spec each side. So yes 10P is still legal on an RTV. In fact as the Utes are classified as Commercial vehicles I believe the regulations allow for a 50mm wider track but that would deifinately have clearance issues on the front. Quote:
The lower offset even allowed the taller tyres to fit on the front, with a few other mods Australian made CSA Spirit 16x7" wheels. Load rated to 900kg ea. 5x114.3 10P.

Victorian BA-FGX utes pay commercial Road Tolls, likely to become a national rule. And can legally go 10" rears on a BA-FGX ute. X series utes maybe not commercial because they're not a cab chassis. ?? Sorry to go off topic. |

Thanks Raptor
The CSA Edge also has exactly the same spec as your wheel 5x114.5 / 16x7 / 10P / 900kg. http://www.csadirect.com.au/wheel-range.asp as best I can tell its the only suitable one in the entire CSA range, except for steel wheels, I didnt check them

I've seen them on Gumtree and eBay for around $100. There's one on fleabay now for $200, that's a bit rich for me. You could look for a wrecker who specialises in wheels, we have one on the Gold Coast: Adrians secondhand Tyres Address: 14 Manufacturer Dr, Molendinar QLD 4214, Australia Phone: +61 7 5627 1288 I ended up getting a set of 4 from another wrecker for $200 and the centres came from Adrian's for $20 for 6 (he threw in 2 spares). I'm not the expert here though |

G'day. Sorry to rehash an old thread but just trying to confirm something. I have an '07 BFII RTV with steel rims stamped 3R23-1007-XA YF 16X7J 7 C 07. I want to get them sandblasted and resprayed but need to run some other rims while they're off the car. I've found 2 genuine rims (in pretty ordinary condition but they'll do for a week to get around) but having trouble finding any more that aren't ridiculously overpriced and a long way from my place. Can I put a couple of standard 16" ford rims on it without issue regarding offset etc?
Thanks, Pete Last edited by Moss; 08-07-2022 at 09:21 PM. |

A mate of mine has BA Fairmont Ghia rims on his RTV, so if you are just running around stock BA wheels should be fine
