Default PWR ZF Trans Heat Exchanger Group Buy

For those that are concerned about the known issues of failure on Fords standard heat exchanger on the ZF trans, they are known for leaking internally which damages the transmission and causing repair costs of above $4000 and up ...to possibly $7000.
PWR has developed a system that eliminates the weak ford unit with a heavy duty custom made heat exchanger and is the only answer to eliminating the risk and still have the ZF transmission working 100% as intended.
Pit Lane, With assistance from PWR is offering a group buy discount if we can get 10 customers to purchase one.
The discounted cost is $695.20.
There is the choice of replacing the trans oil hoses with a braided option and this is $795.20.
Freight is included in both prices.
This offer will run for the month of August.
We will place an order with PWR once the minimum order has been met and then place an order once a week from then on for those that may need a cooler quickly.
Heat exchangers will be dispatched on the order that they have been paid for.

Pit Lane can organise fitment and even inhouse ZF transmission servicing if required.
For anyone wanting to take advantage of the lower price please follow this link

thank you

Every shop will have their own price, we would charge $100 plus any oil required

No. Theres no real way of knowing if the factory heat exchangeris going to fail as it fails internally.

Why has Ford not addressed this problem?
Should an owner of a new vehicle be doing this yet or is there a time frame
yrs , klm's to consider before having to worry?
Is it more a case of prevention is better than cure for a new car?
I'm sure even tho ford know there's a problem when it comes time to pay up
on a warranty they will do what ever they can to get out of it even when they know its faulty & try & push blame onto us due to mods to car.

Is there any real advantage of having the braided lines over standard?

.25-.75 ltrs is probably enough in most cases
The braided lines were made an option because people kept asking PWR for them, the standard lines are fine, braided would be more robust

We personally waited for Bels car to come out of warranty before doing it so there would not be any issue if another trans fault showed up, we fitted one though the week the car was out of warranty.

I talked to Spiro at Autotech Engineering last week. He gave me a couple of quotes including ZF tune and ZF service. Unfortunately I didn't get a fitting only quote for the exchanger. Autotech are probably the best turbo tuners in Sydney.
