It has been sitting without much being done recently, but it deserves a revisit.

Hi All

Just finding my way around this site as i've just hooked up. Thought you might like to see my1969 MK2 Cortina Wagon that i restored back in 2007 in the UK. I shipped it out with me when i moved here. Just selected two pic's but i have more. As far as i know this is one of two on the road here in Aus,
I know of 8 wagons including mine in Aus. I'm in Qld.

I've seen both your mk2's Captin. The wagon has to be 1 of the best Mk2's I've seen & a real inspiration to the small Ford community as the bench mark.

Anyway a couple of pics of my Mk1 GT. White one is 15yrs ago when registered as my daily, cruiser at the back was the weekender, mrs had a falcon. Now derusted & repainted in original Silver Blue Metalic. Not finished yet but getting there.

& you could use the Crayford for the items that were to long to fit inside the wagon. I'm the same, recently moved house & loaded up the Cortina with all it's extras, unfortunately sat like that for almost 6 months (house renos) has only just been cleaned out now that I've got some storage.

I'm about to move but it's 1800kms so my GT is going on transport - I'm busily putting things back on as it's the easiest way to get them there, then I'll fill the boot with extras!

Moved to the South Burnett 2 weeks ago.
My car is currently on a transporter on it's way down. I'm expecting a phone call this week.

Edit: I've just looked at the list of your cars and figured out who you are. We have conversed elsewhere before it's demise. :(
