no the batteries just smoked and gave off a lot of fumes so we disconnected them and hosed it down until the vapors stopped

Daewoos were so rubbish, they stopped selling them. Then GM hit on the great idea of slapping GM badges on them, and that didn't work either, so they stuck Holden badges on them.
Then, the brainstrust at Holden pondered on what could make this flaming **** stink even worse? "I know, lets build it in Elizabeth, cos bogans are so much more reliable and industrious than Koreans."

Can't really judge a car by Facebook posts. According to Facebook comments, every car is junk. Someone always knows someone who had one that has had nothing but problems.

We have a 2014 Colorado at work and it has already had a few electrical problems. We used to have a Rodeo that had it's fair share of issues too.

our Colorado's about 20 at work all have had rear suspension bushes, 10 had diff leaks, quite a few of them were using a lot of engine oil, couple had batteries melting, 3 had engine changes because of oil consumption and that is on top of the recalls
