Default Quick question

I met a bloke recently who bought a new XY GS, 351C, 4 speed, 9 inch, etc, he still owns it, all still original, number plates and all, was the family car up until 1988, he has it insured for $10k, I told him he should do some research, he might be surprised, he seemed surprised that I thought it was worth more than $10k

Thoughts on value etc please

Perhaps a more meaningful thread title may have got more responses. A "quick question" could cover any topic. Most of the 78 views were probably, like me, just seeing what the quick question was. And we still don't know as there wasn't a single question in your post anyway; just a request for views on values. :-) But yes; more than $10,000 one would think.

It will also depend on condition of course and you haven't indicated what that is. If it's full of rust less than $10,000.

Have a bit of a look around on line and see what ones in similar spec / condition are going for. Who are they insured with? Perhaps give Shannons or another specialist insurer a call. he he wants a serious value on it they will have to see it or pics of it before they will give it a value to be insured for.
