This is the content

An unauthorized person has gained access to your PayPal account

Hello ,

Recently, there is activity in your account that PayPal seems unusual compared to your normal activities

We are concerned that someone is using your PayPal account without your knowledge.

What should I do ?
Please follow the link.
We may ask you to confirm the information you provided when you created your account to make sure that you are the holder

The link leads to a bogus site where they will harvest your account details.

Good post mate, seems like a lot of these going around. One thing I usually notice is when I am signed up to a site if I get an email just saying 'hello' I usually am weary of its content.

Intelligent people run enough money in paypal to pay for what you need, why have a stash of $$ when you dont get any interest on it.

I don't know about other email systems, but with Thunderbird if you hover the mouse pointer over the link it will give you the actual address.

If it's not Paypal, or whoever they say they are, I don't go there.

If you have any doubts go straight to the site and login from there.

Never believe any email sent from Financial Institutions or sites that advise of funny activity or anything.

Create a rule that send to junk, if they really have a need to contact you they will call.

This is the first give-away....They never address you with "Hello" it is always by your full name.

Scam artists they always starts with Hello.

This reminds me of a movie and a song.
Song: Hello...is it me you looking for
Movie: You had me at Hello.
