A little too 'fridge on wheels' like for me, however it's by no means the worst colour. I would NEVER have a red focus regardless of how cheap it was.

That said, everybody knows Ink Blue is the best colour of all : .

Thanks guys, I just couldn't recall ever seeing a white one!

st_boi, no mate, 127kw out of a VVT NA engine, there's not much you can do to that except make more noise and get nothing else, IMHO. Looking into an LSD, but the box and diff are in one housing making the job a bit tricky and exxy. I'm about to sell the ST soon anyway. Great car, absolutely love it.

Yeah I should know, I helped him fall in love with it!!!

Theoretically all you can do is air filter and that's about it. That is of course unless you get a second mortgage.

The zorst is great. Suspension setup is arguably PERFECT and the brakes are unbelievable. It most certainly ain't a slow hatch, just handles SO well that it feels slow in a straight line. Just enjoy it. You might possibly find a chip somewhere, but it's not easy.

I wouldn't say "PERFECT", but pretty damn good. I found that it needed a bit more rebound damping when really gunning it (think Great Ocean Road and hitting a bump mid corner), but then again it's not a hot hot hatch. I'd be interested to know how it would go with either an LSD in it or with some Konis or Bilsteins in there. But, depends on your driving style in the end, and as far as I'm concerned, it has one of the best compromises between ride and handling of any car I've driven.

I'm yet to drive the new Golf GTI, though...

Best mod, for a car like the ST though, is driver training. Do the full 3 courses and really learn how to drive the car. Then ensure you keep good rubber on there, the stock Contis are awesome, but the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s are much better value. Then look at an LSD if you're still found wanting better handling.

If you're wanting to mod the suspension Whiteline have a kit for the ST. It's worth looking at.

Wow, Norfoc, that does look really good!
Any future mods planned? Also, how do they handle? As good as the Hatch?

My understanding, they handles exactly the same, not much noticeable difference. They'd probably understeer less with more weight over the back wheels...

slightly heavier tail end means better lift off oversteer... they have the same control blade IRS as in the sedan and hatch.

It handles just the same as the hatch.
Plans are to lower it more(adjustable) and angle eyes.
It's an diesel tddi with chip.

I wish we got the turbo diesel Focus here... EUR04D would be one if I had the option at the time.
