Default For Sale section for anything.

I think there should be a for sale section for just randon stuff (other than automotive) eg mp3 players, computer parts etc etc. What do u guys and gals think ?

Cheers

I'd be interested in a computer parts section, I've got a ton of stuff to offload. :P
Possibly household goods, kids stuff.. yeah sounds good to me, but I don't make the decisions.

i think a section for just general stuff would be good. doesnt matter what it is that is being sold as long as it keeps it simple for everyone.

a lot of sale posts dont have pics anyway, and even if they do you would only be going to that section coz you are interested in buying something.
if you are looking for a car or car parts to buy do you really want to have to trowl through 30 posts of non car related stuff?

It doesn't just have to be selling either, it could be a swap this for that. It would beat having to pay fees to eBay too, then them debting and crediting your account 36 times (like they did to me) and having to cough up bank fees for it.

A few of us have kids, there's always the old unplayed with toys, clothes that are too small. Damn I could start listing half the stuff in my house I want to get rid of. Like the two fridges that are out the back. *hint hint*

One mans trash is another mans treasure.

The images could be offsite linked like, most of us do it anyway.. photobucket, tinypic, peoples own sites, etc.. etc. It wont slow down the site at all, except for you waiting for them to load, it's not going to slow down the site for anyone else. :yeees:

Yes, i think it's a good idea. Doesnt need to be categorised though, a simple 'non automotive items' section would do.

Still in 2 minds, and am not sure how popular it may be

Might even consider changing the wanted forums to cover wanted / for sale items (all)
