You guys can have your subway. I'll stick with my Banh Mi.

Edit: That being said, I was (and still am) partial to the Old Shaved Steak, Honey Oat/Herb and Cheese, Old English Cheese, All the Salads, toasted with Southwest Sauce.

Plus 1 paxton, roast pork rolls are amazing and half the price!

If I goto subway I'll have a chicken teryaki wrap with tomato, avocado, onion, carrot, lettuce and pickle. Sometimes sweet onion sauce too.
If I'm having/had a big night; steak, old english cheese, wheat bread, lettuce, onion, tomato, carrot, pickles and southwest sauce toasted.

Maaaate I am so with you I love prok rolls, my face book page is a tribute to pork rolls. I love the pate, the egg butter, the chilli, the pickled carrot, the freshness of the cucumber....... I eat these every day, and even took a holiday to Cabramatta to rate the quality of all the rolls I could fine. I make them at home, and since a shop opened at Dubbo I am there every day I work in town.

Pork Rolls are the gear.

There is an amazing history to these that dates back to French occupation of Cambodia.

I've not tried them in Cabramatta, but I must venture out there one day to have a look. Any places in Cabramatta to suggest?. My favourite are from Mascot - I'm dumb enough to line up and wait to be served...

The Hong Ha at Mascot on Botany Rd is the Holy Grail.

The best I have found at Cabra is the Min Hung Bakery on John St. $3 of Joy.

That's them. They expanded (and opened an outlet closer to me in Hurstville), but they're all gone now, and Mascot is still open.

Yeah they started a franchise called red roll.
There are several sites around Sydney.

It looks like the franchise website is gone.... so maybe it all has.

Their website is still on the bags they stick the rolls in, but the site itself has been timing out since way before Christmas.

Subway, it's my lunch most days when I get to have lunch or in a town with a Subway.

Herbs 'n' Cheese, Foot Long, Toasted with Double Roast Chicken, Carrot, Onion, Lettuce, then add some tomato sauce, small amount of salt 'n' pepper. Amazing. Add one bottle of Diet Coke. Nice meal for me.

My lunch break is usually 2-3PM, most days, I walk in, they know me by name, I have the same for the last 3 odd years, I rarely have to say what sub I want before I am at the checkout paying, I even get a discount cause I am such a regular!

Have to agree, tried it once about 5 years ago, thought the bread was stale and everything on it tasted like crap. Then went to have another go about a year or so ago . There motto is eat subway eat fresh, yet I went to order the chicken roll , I saw the worker take something from the frezer and place it in the microwave, I said is that my chicken to which they replied yes, I said it says eat subway eat fresh, That is not fresh I said and walked out. From what I have experienced I cannot believe they are so popular, crap food ,not fresh is what the motto should be.

These guys have been busted by the food police on at least 3 occasions, yet evryone still lines up out the door. There are two more shops further down the street heading towards the airport that make better rolls than this place, I always buy them from one of these instaed of lining up down the street.
