Considering most of the developed world have speed limits around 120-130 wouldn't car companies take that into account.
Didn't the original 200 Series Lancruiser's have to have their gearbox software changed because they could never get into top gear Australia?
People were complaining they had to break the speed limit to get better economy.

Look at all those blue and purple countries with higher limits than Australia.
Huge chunks of Africa, South America and Asia have higher limits than us.
Our motorways are decent quality. Some of them should be more than 110.
