Default 2019 Fundraising for Multiple Sclerosis

G'day everyone,

It's that time of the year that I start trying to raise money to help people suffering from MS. I feel like I'm starting from scratch, after a knee anomaly occurred last June.

I thought I'd do my bit as an older bloke, and ride my bicycle for 100km. If you want to help motivate me to get into using my days off for cycling, (instead of finishing my projects), throw me a donation.

I'm already throwing donations towards Heart Research, Cancer Research and a couple of others, so I'm asking your help for another cause.

MS is a disease that strikes mostly people from 20-40, mainly women, it cuts off the brain's signal to it's motors, stopping people from functioning normally.

I feel like I'm starting from scratch with my cycling, as something funny is going on with my knee, in that the fluid from the joint appears to have moved to the front... but I'm a bloke, and I might get to the doctor later this year... or next.

Help me out with my fundraising, by clicking the link below or in my signature. I promise you'll feel good claiming this on your tax return!

I went for a ride today... I found out that I am not fit. I rode for just over 20km, and it was into the wind, but I didn't feel good at the end. I've got a lot of work to do!

I posted my fundraising page on Facebook, and my 21 yo son took interest, in that he'd like to go for a ride.

So I drove down to his inner city place, and introduced him to the bikeways 300 metres from his apartment. He was amazed at the birdlife he saw, not just the ducks and egrets, but at some eagle hovering above us. I only took him for a 25 km ride, but it was a good morning.

I've raised almost $500 due to you guys so far.

Thank you, and my knees are sore!
