Default which cars had power/ecpm buttons

gday fellas

i need to know if EF-EL-AU came out with Power/Econ buttons like the EA-ED's also which ones were they GLI, Fairmont, XR's?

anything with a 4 speed.
even column shift models got it on the dash.

Anything from a EA series 2 with the 4 speed auto to the AU series 3 had these buttons.

Not any manuals of course though.. Power = WOT.. Econ is 1/2 throttle...

I have seen pics but not for ages, if I see them I will post them.

No they didn't!! They came out with ECON buttons. There is no such thing as POWER mode on these cars. It's either in ECON or normal. AUs are the same.

I thought normal = power (basically) and econ = well umm econ.

EA - ED have Power/Econ buttons, when in power, a power light on dash lights up and them goes off when in Econ,

EF - AU have Power/Econ Buttons but the light worked in reverse to the EA - ED (i.e there is an Econ light instead of power)

The EL GT, AU XR8 (not sure about 6) and T series auto's dont have a button, the have 3 preset modes that you have to set when the car is off, using the gear lever.
