Default Installing Pure Highway 300Di DAB Radio

Guys have you had much expereince in installing these units into the current SZ model Territory. I am located in South Australia so coming to you is not an option.

I have been told that the ISO plugs that are included with the kit will not fit directly into the ICC as I thought and it has been suggested that I can only use the auxilary plug located in the console.

Any thoughts would be extremely helpful. I have included copy of wiring diagram.

Hi, We have never installed a DAB into any vehicle so sorry we can not be much help, From what it looks like you will have to tap into your AUX input.

Cheers

G'day, I just had one installed in my SZ Territory by a "professional" installation company and it didn't work correctly - low volume & a lot of hiss. They are blaming the module and have ordered a new one to be fitted next week (3rd visit).
I had a poke around myself & discovered that if i disconnect the connector that goes to the AUX input jack in the center console it works a treat with crystal clear sound. I'm trying to get a copy of the SZ wiring diagram to see what they have done wrong. I suspect it is an earth/power supply connection issue.

Love DAB+!

Cheers,

Rob.

Hi, Have this unit as well, looking to install in my falcon BFII, Looks pretty straight forward.

Except the powering of the unit, the connector cable it comes with is clearly made to connect to the back of a head unit, but I just want to power it, What is the simplest way to power it via the power connector behind the fuse box ?
