Can anyone tell me where I can get a good second hand or reco box to suit a 92 laser TX3 1.8 twin cam non turbo (5 spd) I'm in Coffs Harbour NSW

You just need a g series box mate. Id be looking for someone wrecking a Mazda 323 or Laser from the same era. As far as I know its just a basic g series box (basically from I think around 89-mid 90's). Dont use an f series (earlier than 89), I believe they do fit, if you also use the f series flywheel and clutch, but the box wont last. I think driveshafts are different too.
There is a couple of laser forums, google them and maybe someone there is localish to you and can help. Dont quote me on the years above. |

G series only came in KF/KH TX3's not there 4 door counterparts. Also found in BG Familia's that came with the BP engine.
