You will be right, I've had a few clutch's go and never had a problem getting home, a bit of free reving hear and there on hills, other than that it was fine.
One time when I first had my 4:1's my clutch went, drove around for 3 weeks and then drove sydney to melbourne to see Chris on that clutch.
Only thing you need to worry about is if you have the coin to replace it.

What was your rwkw output? tomorrow is the big day for me(and xr8)club meet at Meremere(nz)-fpv tichford club,mustang club and other aussy brand(hsv club i think : )gee i wish i had that diff ratio done,cheers :

11.80 @ 118.5 mph Pursuit stock internal apart from oil pump gears, all the usual bolt ons, 90/10 front shocks, traction bars, weight reduction, full slicks, 4.11's, big convertor and built auto.

Just got back from drags,had a good day but could not crack into the 13s bracket-best time was 14.01@103mph-had heaps of wheel spin and a lot of more experienced guys also complained about the traction,one poor fellow in a ac cobra ended up in the fence(ouch),still beat some gtp's and holdens,cheers
