Hi

i attached a trailer to my car AU II, i plug the trailer cable. and tested the brake lights and noticed my brake lights on my car dont work any more. i checked the fuse its fine but it was a 10 amp fuse and i looked in manual its meant to be 15amp fuse. so i put in 15 amp and bought new bulbs and still nothing working

Brake light switch that's situated on the brake pedal. Very common problem

Don't need the car on a hoist. the switch is up under the dash, drivers side footwell. attaches to the brake pedal.

It's not that bad to change and takes only a minute and the part is about $12
