Default Air filter now available for the 2009 WS Fiesta Zetec 1.4 and 1.6L

Hi guys, a BMC flatpanel air filter is now available for the 2009 WS Fiesta Zetec for both 1.4L and 1.6L engines.

May be a stupid question, so at the risk of sounding like a fool, what advantages does an after market air filter have?

Heaps more breathing capabillities than stock rapid,helps the engine breath that bit better more flow rate and you dont have to replace it for a very long time and im sure there cleanable where as stock its basically chuck it and replace.
i noticed aswell on my 205gti it added a more throaty sound to the engine.

Apologies guys, just got back from the supplier and unfortunately that due to the air filter being so a recent addition to BMC products, the Australian importer has not yet got it in stock and will keep me updated on its arrival.
