Hey Matt, after reading through this thread (& others), I see you have obviously proved yourself an invaluable part of this forum & clearly many forum members have found your service and advice second to none. Could I bother you for a price for Brembo kit: a pair of 355mm slotted Brembo rotors, a pair of front 6 piston (rear mounted) callipers with Brembo pads. Also if you happen supply them, a pair of front wheel hubs for RWD Territory, including freight to Brisbane. Thanks Matt.

Thanks for the nice words and we can supply and freight the brake kit with front wheel bearing hubs from $2300 which will have plain rotors but we can supply slotted as well at an extra cost.

Do you have a rotor that is cross drilled and slotted to suit brembo 6 piston?

Yes we do it is a DBA 4000 XS rotor and are $700 a pair for the front 355mm x 32 or we have genuine brembo ford at $880 a pair.

Have a look on our website www.racebrakessydney.com.au and look in the disc rotor section and you will see them. The 4000XS range and they are gold.

Hi Matt,

I've ordered a new GT R-Spec fairly early on but as we didn't know what the final specs would be the brakes are standard GT. Just wondering if you could give some idea what the 6/4 Brembo package would cost please? Would this be available with calipers having a Black Finish? (Seems like FPV only ordered 50 sets of the 6/4 option.)

Thanks,

Jim

Jim we have had quiet a few enquiries on these and the 6/4 combo with DBA T3 slotted rotors start from $4500 but black isn't easy to get plus the cost is more expensive as the red ones are discounted for that price. You may be able to get them painted a some customers have previously done.

Thanks Matt,

I'm just sussing out what can be done at the moment and will probably wait until I have driven it a while before making a decision.

I might try and talk to someone who has had them painted.

Cheers,

Jim

Hi Matt,

I'm after a price on some 6pot Brembo's for my FG XR8, the wheels have been upgraded to fit brembo's (no idea why they would have 19'' wheels that would suit). I would be after slotted and cross-drilled DBA's?? I have Motul dot 5.1 fluid could I use this on this set up? Also postage to Melbourne.

Cheers Tristan

Brakes on the back of falcons don't do that much work anyway. I will upgrade for looks later but for now I have no problem. Also with a ute you don't normally use brembos due to pad knock.

Fronts would be fine and when ready put the larger single piston caliper and 328mm vented and slotted disc.

Hi Matt. I'd actually be ok with 4 piston fronts for my FG if you did a kit for them. Want to run the DBA T3 club spec rotors front and rear. Was going to stick with the factory 303mm single piston rear. Can you give me a price please. Cheers, Michael.

The 4 pot front Brembo kit with DBA T3 slotted rotors and rear 303mm DBA T3 slotted rotors is $3000 plus freight thanks.

Hi mate, am after a quote for a set of front and rear rotors and pads to suit a 2008 GT. Think it currently has the brembo 355/32mm 6pot front and 4pot 330/28mm rear. Any suggestions as to whether to stick with the brembos or go with another?
Cheers mate

The DBA T3 slotted rotors are the most popular and after that we have the DBA 5000 T3 2 piece front and the DBA T3 1 piece rear. I have some factory brake pads here at the moment if you want them at a good price or we can offer low dust Hawk pads or performance DS2500 ferodo pads.
For the DBA T3 4000 series all round with aftermarket pads the cost is from $1540 to $1750 and if you want the 2 piece front discs then add about $400 to the cost. We can do cheaper and dearer pad rotor combinations to suit but these prices will give you an idea.
