Hey all,
Is there a stock place for KF laser to have rear speakers or do they only come with the 4 inch under the dash? If so where and what size? I just put a new cd player in mine with some new 4 inch pioneer speakers under the dash but it sounds terrible. Sounds like splits with only the tweeters working or something! I would like to put some 6 by9 or 6 inches in there somwhere if i can without cutting up the interior if i can help it. |

Generally the bigger splits go in the door trim.. So you have to chop chop it.
 Either that or chop chop the parcel shelf for 6x9s. Either way chop chop! Rob

What about the holes on the side next to the parcel shelf? Theres nothing in there but i can see the speaker wires so i know some models must have had them. Hoe did they mount?

They're small, I don't think more than 4" fit in there.. So there goes your option for any decent speakers

well that sucks!
Time to get creative! thinking i will take out the plastic grilles and trace them onto mdf then cut out pieces to fit in place of the grilles and mount the speakers on that. Should be enough room for 6 inches or 6 by 9 even. Anyone tried that? |
