Default removing au III ashtray

I looked through the forums, but there was no definitive answer, as how to remove the ashtray from AU III.
Ive bought a new one, and thought it should just pull out - but it doesn't.
Anyone able to tell me, if there is a specific trick to this?
I don't smoke, but have thought about if you did, how to remove.
There was nothing in the owners manual either.
Thanks

Flip it down, at the top in the middle is the tab to press down

Thanks for replying, the bugger seem to be in there, real tight.
I have the new one, so I seen that bit in the middle, and tried to feel if there was some type of clip, by getting my finger up under the consul.
Couldn't feel one, but that raised tab in the center looks like at held by one.
Would you suggest, just pulling with a bit more force?

I removed mine a while ago, came out easy. Spray some WD40 on the sides and then give it a yank (the ashtray). You could also try a flat head screw driver and lever it out.'

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

I can confirm, they do just pop out, with a bit of firm pressure.

I think mine had made itself comfortable in there, but I got it out, and back in.
Cheers
