Both you and I! Never ever seen them until mentioned here...

Another one to add (I don't remember reading it, so...): Black Stockies with dress rings and silver centre caps on modern cars, usually lowered Nothing is more unpleasant to the eye, apart from everything else mentioned here.

I can't believe I saw them grafted onto a BA.

Funny we are talking about this, it was only this afternoon I seen a XE with an ACTUAL XB/XC Fluted bonnet on it. It was a disaster. Just picture the curvy bonnet directly grafted onto the super-square XE

"Justify your existence."

I get it. I really do. Make your life worth living. Go skydiving, donate to charity, help people.

But you're not helping anyone by driving around in that eyesore of a VP ute. Seriously.

Not sure about black stock rims...one of the nicest VL Commodores I ever saw was a bright yellow one, lowered, tinted windows, and 16" black "Interceptor" wheels with low profile tyres. It just looked "right". I've also seen an XE in bright green, lowered, with the same wheels, and it too looked good.
