Hi all,
I am looking for an mk2 escort panalvan or a mk1 escort 2 door. I can pay up to as much as $500. All it needs to have is a running engine, good chassis and a fairly straight and almost rust free body. Any help in finding one would be appreciated. :sm_headba

I have already tried there but there are no escorts that are located near ballarat or melbourne. Where else could I look?

With that sort of money you are really going to struggle to find anything decent. Panel vans are really suseptable to rust and most Mk 1 coupes are fetching $1000+ even for ropey ones. If you can save another $500-$1000 you could get a really nice 4 door Mk 2 or a Mk 1 coupe needing work. The other option is to buy a shell/project and build on that. At least you know whats gone into it that way......I've got a Mk 1 panel van shell for sale. Hint, hint.

The other night I was on ebay and I found an original Ford escort 1979 sundowner panalvan. They had it started at $9,400 with no bids. Is that an alright price for one?
