Thanks Mr Crackers, it's a lot of fun to drive, just wish it was a bit louder, I will fix that in the not too distant future. :eclipsee_

So is the G-tech inaccurate, or the guys telling the stories?

That's awesome Cameron, I've seen you run at Heathcote before. Do you drive that beast on the street? I don't think I would take you on at the lights.

Hi Doogstar, i drive it on the street, but responsibly....traction is a major issue.

My mate just bought a 6.0litre Malloo, drove it last night.....seems gutless....he is taking it to G&D for some surgery...lol

Doesn't mean he's telling the full story on the mods, but maybe it was just a quick car.

I am doing 7.2 seconds to 100kmph or 6.9 to 60mph. Most gtechs have mph as my old one did. Many people think that 60 mph is the same as 100kmph.This is not correct. If you are getting 6 seconds on a gtech then your doing around 6.3 to 100kmph converted.

Gtech are very consistent when used properly. In saying this I had pull 0-100 of 3.9 seconds and 9 second 1/4 mile on one occasion. It sometimes does give errors.

So what was your 0-100 time when you ran those 1/4 times?

I'm just curious, has anyone used the gtech device for their runs at the drag strip? If this is the case, did you then compare the these times with each of your timeslips?

Cheers

Default Gtech

Yes I have.. It depends on what one you have. The cheap one is ok but if you run down hill and don't have it set level you can run a quick time. It can be up to .2 out either way. The comp, RR and SS (the one you can d/l ya runs) is very close. I wish I had set a vid camera up. If anyone in Wagga would like to try a Gtech give me a yell. Here is a link click on the vid on the top right.
http://www.gtechpro.com/test.html

my runs the VL will go faster. Bloody lag. But if ya look around you will see 60ft times 1/8 time and speed. Heaps of info. Don't worry about the horse power I didn't put in the weight of the car

Yeah, my gtech would show about 0.2-0.5 sec slower than actual. Used to get me all depressed!!

Got the XD to 60mph in 3 seconds flat on Wed :

0-100 in 6.15 seconds on the G-tech. Two way averaged. Totally standard BA XR8 manual.

That sounds about right for a stocker, faith in the Gtech has been restored.
