Default 'True Blue' Calder Park 22-23 January 2011

Due to the overwhelming response and popularity we had to the Spring Horse Power Challenge, Calder Park has decided to hold its True Blue event over both the 22nd and 23rd of January 2011. By holding it over two consecutive days we anticipate a high volume of cars, so be sure to register soon so you don't miss out!!

Pro Radial (Pro Tree, NO Full CHASSIS CARS)
This class will be run on a Chicago shootout format for the first three elimination rounds with the point’s leaders going into the finals (i.e., most wins from first three elimination rounds)

$2,000 $1,000
Super Street (11.00 - 13.99), DYO)
Estimate around 25 vehicle entries (Includes all vehicles in the ET range)

$1,500 $750
Super Eliminator (9.0 – 10.99, DYO)
Estimate around 35 vehicle entries (Includes all sedans and altered’s in the ET range)

$2,000 $1,000
Top Eliminator (8.99 and faster, DYO)
Estimate around 20 vehicle entries (Includes all sedans and altered’s in the ET range)

$2,000 $1,000
Nostalgia (DYO)
(Includes all vehicles such as hot rods and muscle cars up to HQ & XY, i.e. 1974) Lap belts are NOT permitted

$1,000 $500
Real Street (late model real street cars DYO)
(Includes all late model GM, FORD, Nissan, BMW, Etc. All vehicles must run DOT street tyres – NO SLICKS, full exhaust, no nitrous, blower and turbo permitted if factory fitted, no chassis/four link cars, UNLEADED fuel)

$1,000 $500
Pro Street (heads up, large tyre – back half cars allowed – any engine combo)
(Includes all three quarter chassis vehicles running tyres 12’ or wider, blown or aspirated – no full chassis)

This class will be run on a Chicago shootout format for the first three elimination rounds with the point’s leaders going into the finals (i.e., most wins from first three elimination rounds)
$4,000 $1,000

Modified Street (heads up, small tyre – no back half/chassis cars – any engine combo)
(Includes all vehicles retaining standard chassis, with tyres not exceeding 12 x 29.5, blown or aspirated)

This class will be run on a Chicago shootout format for the first three elimination rounds with the point’s leaders going into the finals (i.e., most wins from first three elimination rounds)
$4,000 $1,000

SuperCharged Eliminator (8.50 and faster, DYO)
(Includes all Supercharged Sedans Rail’s and altered’s in this ET range)
$2,000 $1,000

Modified Bike (13.99 and faster, DYO)
Estimate around 15 bike entries (Includes all bikes racing on a DYO format)
$1,200 $600

bit silly running pro and mod street blown against aspirated. wouldn't be too hard to make another few classes or add a weight break?

the top few guys in both classes run similar numbers, it's consistency that will get the job done.

Calder is going to have to figure out a solution to the pit problem. No children in the infield means no families.
