I just tried this on AU2 auto wagon. I noticed a few discrepancies in the outputs from what is indicated by others as standard:
In 9, the bottom line is 0001, then 0011 with auto engaged.
In 11, the bottom line is 0000 (not 1111).
In 12, the top line has no '0'.
In 14, the bottom line is 0 (not 118).
In 15, the bottom line is 0 (not 255).
In 16, the bottom line is 2010 (not 112), and the top line is 99 (not 98).
In 18, the bottom line is --0-

I'm pretty sure it's accessories on. I've had mine on for over a year now.

Yeah key on accessories or on.
It usually takes me 3 or 4 goes to get, and I have to use my watch to get the timing right.

g'day all
first post
just been reading the post on AU series instrument codes and noticed something that I am sure must have been picked up by now
step one mentions depressing then releasing the odo button 5 times in 10 seconds, ie: press/release 5 times
but the following step says to release button for 5 seconds after the previous instruction was ALSO to release this button
wondering if this might ne clarified?
cheers
Stevo

Yes, you're right Nedd. I've just always moved onto the 5 second step without hesitation and it's worked. I haven't waited 1+5 seconds for the 'two' releases.

Also I know this is old but for those still using this feature if you press the button for around 2-3 seconds you can go back a step rather than cycling through forwards only.

G'day NC1140
I worked it out! if I disconnected the dash completely, and then reconnected it the program button works. I now have a speedo that tells the truth. What I would like to know is what other changes where made to the falcon, when the vehicle was produced for the police dept. I know about the speedo and like it, what else on the Ute?
