Big! They had 6 sites selling Ford, VW, Skoda, Renault and Isuzu. I have bought all of my Fords off them for the last 5 years, very upsetting to see this to happen to the employees.

Motorama has bought Denmac which means there will still be a second dealership on the southside of Brisbane.

Sad news. I still remember seeing the mangled Green's Tuff Ford on display there back in the 80s on my way to school.

Apparently service will be shut as of tonight.

New car sales to close next Friday.

Anyone who has a deposit needs to talk to the receiver and either pick up their car or get a refund.

If you call the dealership they will be able to put you in contact with a representative from Deloittes (theres on in each dealership).

Not sure whats going to happen to all the Ford stock thats owned by Esanda.

Wow, very sad indeed! I purchased my GTP of them only a couple of years ago & they, imo were definately one of the better Ford dealerships!

Such a shame to see them go. The ZL Fairlane plus other cars I grew up with had the dealer sticker like this on the back window. I had aspirations of getting a Mustang from them in the near future, but I'll have to travel further to find a dealership.

So I guess that effects parts as well, I just got a hose from them this morning and didn't notice anything odd.

Real shame as a young primary school boy use to catch the bus from rochedale to Mt gravatt and walk past the dealership every afternoon back in 1972!( lucky for me the bus stop was out the front !
Mum was given a Ford Escort in yellow as a courtesy car while Dad's fairlane was being serviced in 1977!
Lot of history gone!
Now live in Nsw .
