Also Simbad is a Killer on the donut pad. It sounds bloody awesome. What kind of engine does it have?

I didn't stay till the end either as I didn't want to get stuck in the car park. www.wsid.com.au should have the details.

The announcer over the PA said it was running a Holden 6cyl.

My 1st Visit to WSID this weekend, very well organized place, very clean, bins were emptied every 2 hours, even when we were leaving in the rain Saturday night they were cleaning rubbish up in the wet....
the track crews are A1 & oil clean ups are done very quickly, and the way everyone is organized is a credit to track management and the CEO of WSID Jim Read.
while the clean ups were on there was plenty of action on the big screen with interviews with drivers etc:
WSID is a simple setup that works very well.
I also noticed where we sat there were no drunks, i couldn't see anywhere to buy alcohol... which i think is a good thing at a race track...
WSID management needs to apply some of its direction to other tracks...
well done to WSID we had a enjoyable weekend..
good to catch up with MYV8 (Chris) and meet up with PhantomXR8 (Craig)
i will post some pics later..
thx to Cameron at C&J towing for the freebie tickets...

Nice to finally meet you Mark, it was a pleasure. I hope Sydney was kind to you, it sounds like WSID was a good time for you. Melbourne being the modifications Mecca must have first grade drag racing, I hope it returns for you guys.
