Do the E series brakes alter the offsets or track to the vehicle? And is there any other option for the caliper colour? Thanks - and good deal by the way.

I can confirm the track is unaltered. I have that kit on my EL.

The caliper is plain at the moment but if stock is available we can supply red, yellow and black. Most people paint there std ones as we have heard the coloured ones will not be available soon at all from PBR.

What i mean is AU, BA & BF have +36 offset where E series has +6 but i want to get AU offset on my E series. I have 19inch BA offset wheels on my EF XR8 and i have 35mm hub adaptors to fit my wheels on properly.

Now can you modify the eseries kit to come out an extra 35mm so i dont have to use hub adaptors anymore?

It could be done i guess by moving the face of the hub out 35mm but the conversion hubs will need to be re made as a one off and also as you would be aware the steel will need to be purchased longer in length as per the usual so with both of those differences the hubs will be expensive.I am assuming you want the rotor and caliper in the same place ? I would have to check with my machinist first because this will have an impact on the braking and on the bearing load as the wheel will be sitting out past the outer wheel bearings.

I dont mind paying extra to get what i want as many other ppl with e series would like the AU offset option as well as you may have seen on threads on fordforums, fordmods and boosted falcon.

There is a kit from Mr Spares in Melb and they state that there AU onwards offset but it isent, it comes out about 15mm which is way off.

Your not the first to complain about those issues.
So to confirm all you want us to do is move the face of the hub where the rim sits on out 35mm but leave everything else

Yes, but whatever you have to do to make the kit work right in regards to bearings and so on.

I have looked into this and can send you pictures on my EF XR8 with the 19inch rims with hub adaptors and another pictures my wheels on my mates AU sitting exactly the same in regards to clearance.

It would be great if you can do something as as discussed on this forum and other ppl want that AU onwards offset option.

Also you dont have to worry about the track being tampered with as when you use a 35mm hub adaptor and use a any BA rim the wheel rack is exactly the same. (A engieerer measured it all up for me)

This is so tempting!!! How long would it be for an e-series kit to be made? Also, how much are replacement EL GT Rotors?

I am also interested in the AU offset option for e-series...

Do you require my current uprights to be machined, or do you take a deposit and refund it when the exchange uprights are received?

The only thing holding me back from ringing you guys and ordering is the possibility of an AU offset brake kit.

Normally i have one set of uprights with ABS and you leave a deposit but if we are able to do your own that is good.As mentioned i am trying to get some uprights here to exchange when possible in both ABS and non ABS.

The E Series twin piston 330mm brake kit made to move the wheel out 35mm from the current position we use which is std offset will cost $2600.I have one set of ABS uprights here to use but would need to either have the customers or i could source some to buy outright which will make the kit a bit dearer.I f i could have the wheel you are using when making the kit that would be of great help so it can be confirmed

Hello

How are you charging for the XR8 322mm front and 328mm rears for a AU series 2? DO the brackets need to mount the rear calipers come in the price or do i have to source my own?

Price for the front and rear seperately would be good.

Thanks

Price for the front and rear separately would be good.

Thanks
There is no bracket needed as the calipers just bolt straight up but i have been told a 2mm spacer/washer is needed to be used when fitting this kit to the rear OF A au11 so the caliper sits centered over the rotor (but as i have not fitted this kit yet in our workshop i couldn't say for sure but it is a simple issue).
We can list these kits but can you tell me what style of rotor and brand you would like as there are a few versions we can do like plain rotors, slotted rotors, xdrilled rotors and slotted and dimpled rotors in either RDA or DBA.

I will let you guys know tomorrow what I am doing.

I am tempted by the AU offset kit, but then I will have to change my diff. I dunno if I can be farked doing that.

I will most likely get the E-Series kit (to suit ABS).

Spoke to PBR today and they said that the kit was actually designed to fit behing the standard BA XR6 Rims.

I have downloaded the template and will check on the weekend.

If you could get us a price including postage to 3178 would be great but I am thinking the postage would put it over what I might be able to get them locally.

Cheers
