Don't know about mods required, but the ZETEC motors is in the Mark 1 Ford Focus LR. May have been in some later Escorts as well ( not sure)

there is a 1.6ltr ZETEC (duratec) engine in the Fiesta which ar 74 kw

you best bet would be a FOCUS LR engine as there are alot more performance mods for them and they are essentially the same size as the fez engine.....

Can cost up to $2k with buying coversion parts from UK...
$1k approx to buy a Mondeo so you can junk it...
$1-2 k for an ecu for spark and fuel...
all depends which way you want to do things...spend the cash on getting the goods already done or try to fab some of your won stuff up...
You need a sump kit, exhaust manifold, induction, flywheel and different starter, conversion for water pump or elec. pump, remote thermostat asm...

I've been looking into this conversion myself lately for my mk2 cortina. I found this site to be quite informative....
