Chairman's Award: Chairman's Award - Issue reason: Your outstanding contributions to this community have not gone unnoticed. IN my view you are a worthy recipient of the (rarely used) Chairman's Award.
Default Army Night Flying - Sydney 07-03-2019

Sitting here while large army helicopters (up to five, think Blackhawks) come over so low it literally rattles the window glass, you hear the rotor tips slicing the air, trees wave in the draught and the smell of aviation fuel hangs heavy. Animals are too terrified to bark, even my super laid-back cat is hiding. I don't know how these repeated - unwarned - assaults would go for people with low threshold for stressors.

I understand the idea that they need practice in all conditions, but flying the same route over and over? It's sending a few drivers a bit crazy, too.
