Default Hot Tuner Challenge 2013

For the third consecutive year, Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers are once again the official dynamometer suppliers for the Toyo Tires Motor Magazine “Hot Tuner Challenge”, held at Eastern Creek Raceway, 13th & 14th August 2013.

This prestigious event involves many leading tuners from around the country, who are invited to enter vehicles to be put through various track testing and performance regimes, including horsepower measurement on a Mainline Dyno !

All the dyno runs this year will be conducted on Tuesday 13th August, at Fast Torque Performance Engineering / The Dyno Shop, which is conveniently located just outside the circuit, at “Race Central”, 32-34 Peter Brock Drive Eastern Creek. They have a “top of the line” AWD1800XPC model chassis dyno, and have kindly offered up the use of their dyno in support of the Hot Tuner Challenge 2013 event. This special ‘All Wheel Drive” model features multiple traction enhancing concepts, and it is designed for extreme performance vehicle applications.

All vehicle entries, irrespective of driveline configuration, will be tested on the same Mainline Dyno, ensuring an accurate, consistent and repeatable power measurement comparison between all contestant vehicles.

This year’s event will be open to the public, and the event will also feature an ALLSTARS car show. The car show will commence after completion of Hot Tuner activities on Tuesday 13th August.

All the results of this year’s Hot Tuner Challenge will feature in Motor Magazine October and December editions later this year.
