Did you mod the car further for this to happen? Mine has been pretty good so far I think and its a much older trans than yours.

well i've upped the boost and toyed with the fuel pressure reg, so i've been running about 5-8 psi up and down for months (up at night in the cold and down in the sun), i put an electronic shift kit on, but wasn't really suitable for the turbo as im changing gears at about 4000-4500rpm (right in the power band), so shifting wasn't a really problem.
but ever since the turbos been strapped on its just gotten worse and worse, until today when i lost all my drive :(

I'll be at the dyno day, not sure about turbie au though.

dan, i reckon if you haven't already then get your diff sorted out tommorow. my diff gave way a long time ago but i never did anything about it. now they say that all the extra play and stuffing around in the diff and tailshaft hasn't helped the auto box at all! so no hard driving till my diff gets sorted out.

just got the phone call from ford, when the converter went it took out a pump and a few clutches as well, in the process blowing bits of metal all through the box. so a new box it is. 2500 bucks i dont have, looks like i'll be off the road for a bit longer :(

Shit! That sucks mate. Im surprised you had problems to begin with. Mine is still going strong. Try a few tranmission specialists instead, I reckon they could build you a tough auto for less than that.
